Human Peace Sign
Here's a post that has nothing to do with voting reform: The KW Humanists are organizing a "Human Peace Sign" event for this Friday, March 16. It starts at 7pm in Victoria Park (apparently at the clock tower, which seems odd -- I thought the clock tower was inaccessible).
Apparently, there will be an event in Toronto the next day. See nonviolencefestival.com for more information.
To be sure, this is nothing more than an empty symbolic gesture -- but it's an empty symbolic gesture that looks kind of cool. The Humanists are a good group of people too.
In other news, I am another few steps closer to closing this blog. Oh well.
