Citizens' Assembly Public Consultation

For KW people who are interested in fair voting: Wednesday is a big day. It is the public consultation for the Citizens' Assembly. Although you probably cannot sign up for a speaking slot at this date, it would be great if you (or others you know who are local and might be interested) could come out and participate in the discussion. The hope was to get lots and lots of people out and turn this into a News Event, but I don't know whether that will happen.

(There is no pressure. I am genuinely not targetting this at anyone in particular. I am just trying to get the word out in every way that I can, because I am a great fat dork.)

Anyways, although certain local newspapers have advertised this as happening at the "KW YMCA", it's actually being held at

YMCA Ontario Early Years Centre Training Room 425 University Avenue East (Bridge and University, in the Price Chopper Plaza near Bechtel Park)

This is not a gym. It is a smallish space that I was hoping to fill so that CTV and the Record and other media would be wowed.

If you know people who might be interested in this, please pass this on.

UPDATE: Gah. The meeting is at 7pm, on Wednesday Dec 10.
